Sunday, 24 May 2026, as part of the 100% Mojanchi Trail event, the most accessible route of the day comes to life: a course of approximately 6 km with 300 m of positive elevation gain, non-competitive, open to everyone and to be enjoyed at a free pace, either running or walking.

The start is scheduled for 10.30 am from the Torre di Mesenzana, the historic symbol of the village. The tower, also known as Tor di Ariann, is a medieval fortification dating back to the 13th century, with possible even older origins linked to the Lombard period; it was part of a fortified complex that once dominated the surrounding area.

After the start, the route enters the woods around Mesenzana, following trails, natural views and sections surrounded by greenery. The most evocative passage is through the ancient village of Cavojasca, a place rich in charm and memory: the old settlement is believed to date back to the Celtic period, a hypothesis supported also by the place name ending in “-asca” and by its proximity to an altar stone near the springs of the Gesone stream. Among the ruins still visible today, you can recognise remains of structures, arches, cisterns and terraces, traces of a settlement that for centuries lived between woodland, defence and agriculture.

The route is designed for families, walkers, runners of all levels and anyone who wants to discover the area at a relaxed pace, with no ranking and no stopwatch.

A refreshment stop included in the entry fee will be available at the finish.

To complete the day, a food stand run by the Associazione delle Contrade di Mesenzana will be available at the finish area, offering everyone the chance to enjoy the festive atmosphere of the 100% Mojanchi Trail together.
