2. Semi-autonomy

The races take place under a semi-autonomy format. Each athlete must independently manage hydration, nutrition and mandatory gear between one aid point and the next. The races run on mountain trails and technical sections, which require proper physical preparation and the ability to handle difficult situations autonomously.

Green policy: at aid stations no cups will be provided.

3. Mandatory gear

Gear may be checked at the start and along the course. Missing one or more items may result in penalties up to disqualification.

4. GPX tracks

The official GPX tracks are available on the website https://www.mojanchitrail.it/. For safety reasons or causes beyond the organizers’ control, the routes may undergo minor changes, even close to the event date.

5. Registration and fees

Registration open on the Wedosport website from Thursday 08/01/2026 to Thursday 21/05/2026, subject to bib availability. You can also gift a registration via Wedosport.

Fees – Valli del Verbano Trail (34 km)

Fees – Vallalta Trail (13 km)

6. Race pack

The race pack includes the official T-shirt (choose size XS–XXL during registration):

• Vallalta Trail: cotton T-shirt
• Valli del Verbano Trail: technical T-shirt

The fee also includes aid stations (no cups), medical assistance and a post-race pasta party (registration will ask if you will attend).

7. Membership

Participation is allowed for athletes registered with FIDAL / RUNCARD / FISKY / CSAIn. For non-members, a CSAIn card with basic coverage is available for an additional 2 €.

8. Medical certificate

A valid competitive sports medical certificate is mandatory for endurance sports – “TABLE B”, valid on the race date.

NON-Italian athletes: must provide an equivalent certificate valid under Italian law; the organizers may request additional information or a translation. It is possible to submit to wedosport.net this signed self-declaration confirming possession of the required medical documentation.

9. Bib pickup

• Saturday afternoon before the race
• Sunday morning before the start

Detailed locations and times will be published on the official website.

10. Rankings and awards

Awards will be given to the top 5 men and top 5 women in each race.

11. Withdrawal and safety

In case of withdrawal, for any reason, the athlete must immediately notify the organizers at +39 346 512 1115 or the nearest checkpoint. Failure to do so may trigger search procedures.

It is mandatory to assist any athlete in difficulty and promptly notify the organizers.

12. Prohibitions

Participation with animals is not allowed along the entire race course.

13. Refunds and optional insurance

No refund will be granted in case of non-participation.

During registration on Wedosport, you can purchase an optional insurance policy that partially covers the fee, according to the insurer’s conditions and limits.

14. Privacy and image rights

By registering, the athlete authorizes the use of images, photos and videos taken during the event for informational and promotional purposes, in compliance with applicable laws.

15. Force majeure

In case of adverse weather, safety reasons or force majeure, the organizers may modify, suspend or cancel the event. In such cases, no refund of the fee will be issued.

16. Acceptance of the rules

By registering, the athlete declares that they have read, understood and fully accepted these rules.
